Mountain Flights in Nepal |
Why not consider doing a mountain flight whilst in Nepal. We use Bhuddha Air for all our Mountain flights. Traditional mountain flights showed only a small part of Everest in the middle with Lhotse and Nuptse on either side obscuring the view. One had a hard time visualizing Everest as the highest mountain in the world. This was because the aircraft flew either to low, less than 13000 feet or too far, almost 50 nautical miles away. Buddha Air, however, revolutionized the mountain flight experience with the introduction of brand new Raytheon Beech 1900D aircraft. Unlike aircraft of other domestic airlines, Beech 1900Ds can fly north of Mt. Amadablam, into the Khumbu valley at 25,000 feet and almost 5 nautical miles from Everest (weather permitting). This allows you to see Everest in such a way that you fell like stretching your arms and touching it. So beautiful is the sight that one of our clients said "I did not climb Everest, but I touched it with my heart!" With a view like this, it is very easy to see why Everest is the highest mountain in the world. |
